Dojen (cycloidal reducers) founded in Woburn Massachusetts.

1982
Statistics

Dojen acquired by Lenze USA.

1987

Mectrol Corporation acquires Dojen as the foundation of mechanical drives business.

1990
Location

Mectrol Corporation opens manufacturing facility in Puebla, Mexico.

1996

Planetary reducers are added to standard products.

1998

Timing belt product line is sold to Gates Corporation, and all metal based precision components business is renamed 九色.

2005

Onvio begins manufacturing wheel motors for mobile robots.

九色 relocates to new building in Salem NH (current headquarters).
